How Long Did Your First Labor Last?

How long was it from the time you knew you were in labor to the time your baby was out? and how long did you push for?

my water broke at about 12:15p.m. wednesday afternoon, i dont know how long i pushed, i dont think it was very long, and my son came into the world at 4:41 thursday morning

I was in labor with my firdt for 7 hours. My second was over 24 hours.

26 hours of contractions, water broke with the first push when I delivered my first one

16 hours from the time my water broke/ 48 hours from contrations starting with the twins

Hmm, my first contraction started at around 9:30am on Sept 8, and I delivered my son at 1:37pm on Sept 9.  I pushed for about 2 hours maybe.  Not sure, was a long time ago :)

8hours of labor, pushed for 15mins.  My 2nd was 7.5hours of labor, pushed for 15mins.

I had to be induced with all three of mine, two for medical reasons, and once because she just didn't want to come out. From the time the my first induction started to the time my daughter was born was 8 hours, almost all of it hard labor. I thought it would be so much worse!

Ten hours and I pushed for no more than ten minutes max

My water broke at 3.42am... However contractions didn't start for 5 hours. I was in "active" labor for 6.5 hours and then pushed for an hour. The only reason for that was my sons hand was next to his cheek so I had to push very slow not to tear,which worked:)

3 days of labor, but i also stayed in the hospital bed and did not do anything to help speed the labor along. so whatever you do....DONT STAY IN BED, get up and walk, take a shower, sit on an exercise ball
