Posted by   + Show Post

How long was it from the time you knew you were in labor to the time your baby was out? and how long did you push for?

18 hrs. No pain meds or epi. But after those long 18 hrs with my water broken, max dose of pitocin, and bouncing on a yoga ball, my cervix stalled at 1.5cm for the whole duration so I had to have an emergency C-Section. I'm hoping my next labor will be a natural VBAC.

First one was about 8 hours from the time my water broke (at the grocery store) pushed for 15 - 20 minutes.  Second one was 4 1/2 hours from the time my water broke and pushed twice....

My labor I was 14 hours and 51 minutes. From the first contraction to the time she was born. I pushed for less than ten minutes. By the time I got to the hospital, it was literally time to push.
