I used breastmilk and let a couple drops air dry, then applied a little la olin ointment and it nhelped a ton. Ds had latch issues, but we managed to bf for a year. Its toug with sore/cracken nipples, but hang in there

Carmex is the fastest way to heal the cracks. Yes it will sting/hurt a bit, but they are already hurting so what the heck. I swear it works very well. Then after feeding or pumping rub ur nipples with the bit of breastmilk thats left. & lanolin is also good as a preventative measure.

Check out kellymom.com and the breastfeeding moms group here on CafeMom. Has you baby been checked for lip/tongue ties? When he unlatches, do your nipples look like the end of a lipstick?

Breastmilk really does help, just express a little and rub it around your nipples and let them air dry
