  1. Do you look forward to tax season? Yes!
  2. Do you plan bills, trips or other expenses based on tax time? We usually pay off debt, buy a few things that are needed/wanted, and put some into savings.
  3. Do you file as soon as possible, or do you wait until the last possible minute? Once we have everything we will file. Which actually we might have already. DH brought home a w-2. :)
  4. Do you do your own taxes or have them done by a professional? We've done both. My FIL used to be an accountant for a buisness he was a part of for a long time. He's retired now.  My DH does ours through a free online tax filing program :)

Strawberry milkshake with cream please :)

I look forward to tax time. Being self employed I'm careful to make sure income vs expenses are in my favor. I put anything I get back into savings.

I'm going to skip the coffee, I'd rather have a chelada. :-)

1. Yes
2. Bills, put some money in the kids' accts. This year it'll be all bills and setting some money aside to move at the end of the summer.
3. As soon as I am able, I file.
4. I usually do my own, but since we moved to a different state this year, and hubby had a couple different jobs, I will take our stuff somewhere to be done.

Hot chocolate, please =)

Yes and No. We look forward to is to kinda get ahead and pay off bills, buy anything we've been putting off, etc. The last year has been extremely tight for us $$$ so we've had to put off a lot of stuff for our daughters, but with income tax we're hoping to get them all they stuff they've been needing & stock up  for later. This was my oldest daughter's first year in school as well, and so putting $ and supplies aside for that as well.
