Quoting goddess99:I had a walker, my dd loved it. She could use it in 2 rooms that were safe.
Thanx,this would be helpful

My son loved it. Use common sense-Gates, supervision, etc and it will be a life saver
I personally would go with an excersaucer instead. It allows her to be upright but it is't mobile.
Walkers can be dangerous, expeically if you have any steps or stairs or elevations in your home, and there is nothing to suggest they actually help infants walk faster.
I don't get how people always say they are dangerous. Are you leaving them unattended at that age around stairs? I would hope not.
I hated the exersaucer. BORING, LOL.
My son had a walker, and LOVED it. I love them, and as long as someone else said, you use common sense, there are no issues. They had them for years, and the years they caused issues where the lack of common sense years.
I didn't use a walker with either of my kids. They both had an exersaucer and loved it.
