Ditto! It's my choice, my body, my money. I'm well aware of the health risks of smoking, and I accept those risks. Please respect my choice!

Pretty sure this wasn't phrased in such a way to spark a debate.

Quoting Rosies50:

Disgusting. Your not only hurting yourself but the people around you. People get help for doing things like cutting themselves, but not for smoking. You can die from one and scar from the other. How much sense is that?

It's almost impossible to have a conversation with some people without having their judgment shoved down your throat.  You simply asked if we smoke or if our spouses smoke.  You didn't ask for opinions about smoking.

I dont smoke at all. Dh has the occasional cigar after work. I dont mind so long as he rides with the windows down and changes his clothes before he plays with dd.

I smoke outside and do the best I can to keep the smell out of the house but when you come in it's a little difficult to hide the smell. I am trying to quit though, cold turkey isn't working and luckily we can get help from the doctors out here. So going to try chantix or the gum or something, I don't want to smoke anymore then he wants me too.
