So I have an 8 month old and I EBF. I had my first real period in January.....so I was thinking things were going to be back to normal. Is it normal to maybe miss it??? I should have started yesterday or so and I don't even feel like I am going to.

Hubby and I have had sex like one time this month due to our crappy schedules.....and when I looked at my period app...it just so happens I was supposed to be ovulating that day! OOPS!!! I swear.....If I am pregnant I wil just die! LOL. We are done having kids....3 boys.....oh my.  But ya know.....in the heat of the moment.....lol.

THoughts????

Give it some time. You still may get your period. (Hopefully)

It's normal for it to be irregular while breastfeeding. I think there are books & information out there on natural family planning which will help you look for signs of ovulation that will be there even while you are nursing.

1 mom liked this

Period symptoms are very similar to early pregnancy symptoms. I would mentally prepare for both, just in case. But give it some time and if there's no blood soon, take a test.
