Hey, I have a tweed couch (99% sure its tweed...) Can I just use diluted Dawn and scrub the stains, like Greek yogurt, off and air dry? Or will it ruin it somehow? Dry cleaning isn't an option. I'm looking for a constant cleaning solution. I have three under two and we got the couch second hand. It's in great condition.

I agree when we first got married we had a Tweed couch , ugh never again. We now have stain resistant couch, completly threadless. Use the upholstry cleaner, because you could cause it to "bead" which is unsightly.
Quoting goddess99:Idk. I always used an upholstery cleaner.

You can test the method on a hidden area like the back or underneath or something like that.

I think the dawn will work. There is no bleach in the product to cause further damage. Put the cushions outside to dry. Even tho its cold out the suns rays can kill bacteria. Since the stains are dairy you may have a smell. Fabreze might help
