We will be getting a new kitten in August. I have a laid-back, 4 year old male cat now. Any suggestions on how to introduce the new to the old? Our cat, Conner, is friendly when other pets come to visit, but I am not sure how he will react to sharing us! Thanks.

Thanks. The shelter advises keeping the new cat in a room by itself for a few days anyway. This should work fine. Since I have a boy kitty I think we should get a female. I have heard that male cats fight.
