Hey everyone!
I'm wondering if anyone runs/jogs and how you find the motivation! I have recently started walking to pick up ss from school with my 13 month old in the stroller. It's a good 1 1/2 miles. I jogged for the first time today and I was exhausted and had issues breathing but other than that it was fine and I feel energized now! The kids are out of school for spring break for the next 13 days so how am I supposed to keep motivated? Any tips???

For me working out is a huge stress reliever. I look at fitness magazines and read motivational quotes!

Read magazines. How old are your other children? Maybe take them with you.

Even though they are out of school, maybe walk to the school anyway

I have no idea how to stay motivated but a friend of mine who has always been overweight decided to start running a few years ago, now she has done a couple marathons and many half marathons. She's already booked a trip to Vegas this year to run a marathon there. She loves it.

I run on my treadmill and watch stuff on my computer or iPad while running. The interesting topics keep me motivated.

Music helped me, and eventually the out of breath stuff goes away, and I was a smoker! Also, just reminding myself that it will give me energy, and it's vain, but that I would soon fit into a smaller pair of pants!
