totally random, but have you tried to take 1 chewable baby asprin every day as soon as you know you are pregnant? i had 4 miscarriages and that is how i finally had my 2 kids. apparently i just have unusually thick blood that was just too thick for a sucessful pregnancy. i have met a few women like that.

other than that? yes, i agree. foster is the way to go. you have to jump through a lot of hoops, but it is worth it. there is a mom at my daughters school who has 2 bio kids and 3 adoptive kids through the foster system. one of the happiest families i have ever seen!

Have you checked into a loan for the private adoption? Try checking into/through a private agency.  Most of them (at least Deaconess Pregnancy & Adoption Agency does) have an informational meeting that you can attend or even just talk to an adoption specialist that can help walk you through the process.  There are loans, fund raisers, etc that most people go thru to fund an adoption. Just take a look & see what's out there!!! There are also multiple funds out there that are specifically for lower income folks (most of us) to adopt. Please check into it before you write off private adoption!  Foster to adopt is great, if you can get a decent adoption worker who actually will help you, call you, inform you, etc., all of ours SUCKED!!!! & yes, us little people are now adopting privately ~ but we will someday go back to fostering, and eventually adopting out of the system.  Good luck!!!

I believe there are some organizations that help financially so you can adopt. I hope it all works out.

You have a child so you know it's possible.  Have you seen a fertility doctor or discussed what the problem might be with your OB/GYN?

OTT i just wanted to add you can also get the tax credit for non foster adoption to. no trying to offend just wanted to add.

Quoting onethentwins:

Look no further than the foster system. There are lots of kids that ache for a family and siblings as much as you ache for another kid. Not only is it very, very inexpensive, you'll receive an adoption tax credit too.

I'm so sorry mama. :( Its sad that its so expensive when there are so many children out there wanting to be adopted as desperately as you want to adopt them!
