Mother's Day is the biggest day of mom's year to show all your appreciation for everything she does to take care of her family. No matter what you have planned, a few Mother's Day cocktails are always a welcome addition to her most relaxing day of the year. Try surprising her with a variety of Mother's Day drinks to knock her socks off and to force a little relaxation. Here are some yummy Mother's Day drink recipes to try on mom's day.

Pink Fizz: A pretty-in-pink Mother's Day cocktail to make any mom feel tickled pink.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tsp. simple syrup
  • 12 fresh mint leaves
  • 3 ounces fresh lime juice
  • Crushed ice
  • 8 ounces vodka
  • Cranberry juice

  • Champagne or sparkling wine

Muddle syrup, mint and lime together in a shaker. Add ice, vodka, 1/8 cup cranberry juice and shake well. Pour mixture into four champagne glasses, evenly and top off with champagne or wine. Garnish with mint.

The Orange Marmalade: Of all the Mother's Day cocktail recipes, this one packs the most punch, but is a great addition to any celebratory brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Gin
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce Campari
  • 2 spoons orange marmalade or jam
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters

Combine all the ingredients in a shaker and shake well. Strain over your cocktail glass and serve chilled with a lemon wedge as garnish.

Peach Apricot Bellini: A Mother's Day recipe for the girl's-girl mom, this pretty pale drink tastes good all day around.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peaches sliced, peeled and pureed
  • 1/4 cup apricots, sliced, peeled and pureed
  • Champagne

Pour both purees into glasses and slowly add Champagne. Garnish with peach slice.

Mom deserves a cocktail or two (or three!) plus lots of attention. Make her day extra special with a special brunch topped off with one of our cocktails and a lot of hugs and kisses.
