Would you take this drastic step if it meant saving your life? Angelina Jolie did!

Angelina Jolie revealed that she had a double mastectomy done after discovering a cancer gene.

If you were to discover you had a cancerous gene, would you have a preventative mastectomy or would you wait it out to see if it developed into cancer?

What? Did she have them reconstructed? When did she do this?
And yes, i would if the risk was very high.

If the risk was high, yes I would.

If the risk was high, yes. Her choice was probably inspired by watching her mother suffer.

It depends on how old I was, at my age now I wouldn't, if I was still young with my small children, I probably would do it....

Sure thing. It doesn't cost as much as one would think. Still cheaper than cancer treatments.

No Im not conviced there is a cancerous gene. We all have cancer cells in our bodies. The problem is the over growth. I feel that diet, reduction of emf exposure, minerals, quality water.... Not tap or bottled water, natural skin products free of harmful chemicals, chemical free cleaning, clothing, bed products..... Etc this overgrowth would not happen. So no I would keep my breast and alter my lifestyle. And yes I know lots of people who have cancer recovered and died..... The difference between there life quality of life and death was lifestyle.
