Im looking for other moms who had serious tearing when delivering your child and especially if you had a corrective surgery after. I really need to talk to someone...

I didn't tear, but my mom did with my older brother. She had to be put to sleep to get stitched back together. Sat on a donut for 6 months afterwards, because of the pain. I hope you heal up good as new.

I had 4th degree tears. Took Dr. nearly 2 hours to sew me up. I went 2 weeks after delivery to let Dr check stitches. He saw a small place that wasn't healing like it should. He said to give it a little more time that it should correct itself. I cried until i went back for my 6wk checkup. Luckily, it had healed up correctly. So thank goodness no surgery. I will say that things still aren't the same down there. Its been 18mths. Baby #2 on the way next month. I'm a little scared about a repeat but everything I read says very unlikely to happen twice.
