Make it a game.  Get some Froot Loops and have him aim for them while he is going.  Cheerios work too but with one of my nephews it was more about color and aiming for specific ones.  The second part seems to come easier once you get the peeing down.

 We started out having our 1st. sit on the potty after meals for a time.

My son has the 1st one down, its the 2nd one he goes and hides and does his business

Just have a potty available and let them go when they are ready.  You can do pants-free time around the house and take him to the potty every now and then.  No pressure!  He'll do it on his own when he is ready.

You could try putting a small potty in a closet or wherever he likes to go.  Make sure he has privacy.

He has is own potty, but he refuse to do or say when he needs to go
