I introduced my dd to a potty chair when she was 1-2 years old. But she was 4 before she was ready and it only took a day. She was ready and wanting to do it, so it was easy.

Put the potty in front of the tv and get Potty Power dvd on amazon.com. Shows real kids using the potty. That is the only thing that worked for my child. She is stubborn. No reward or chart or anything worked for her. If all else fails than get the dvd

Well she is 20 months old we have potty in front room and bathroom.. I tried going the no diaper thing for like two months but she still would not use it all the time even w me sitting her on it every 20min or so I started using diapers again on her but she takes it off and sits on the potty herself but don't go
