My kids are not old enough for school yet, but I know all the neighborhood kids are out and it really messes up our routine. It's always so easy to plan my grocery shopping during school days cause I don't have to worry about a lot of people in the store. During Summer break, it's craziness!!

I can only imagine how routines get messed up this time of the year whether kids are school aged or not.

Do you end up finding an alternate routine during the summer months?

How exciting. I love the end of the school year festivities. Is your daughter excited for the graduation ceremony?

We love slurpees. We get them as treats during the summer.

Do  you or your kids have plans this summer.

Oh how fun!

I used to love to see the Rangerettes when I was young but never went to a camp.

It sounds like she is going to have a fantatstic summer.

Do you have anything planned for yourself while your daughter is in Austin for the weeks?

Quoting CalicoMeezer:

This is my dd at Rangerette Dance Camp. She had a blast, learned a lot, and performed well during their show-off.

This was a one-day camp. She is doing the Summer Reading Program at the local library, and some of the weekly activities that go along, like tye-dyeing tshirts and Friday movies. She'll be visiting my in-laws in Austin for a couple of weeks in July, where she'll do swim lessons.

In August we are going on vacation! We are going to stay at a cabin on Lake Conroe and attend a 3-day sci-fi/fantasy/gaming convention, plus other Houston attractions like NASA and the Downtown Aquarium. The campground has lots to do there too so we are gonna spend time just hanging there too.
