mine only come off to clean them, then they go right back on!

Yes. I hate getting them wet, so they come off for anything that involves water and when I ride.

And when I sleep. My fingers swell and I get a red ring if I try and sleep in them

Only when I'm taking a shower and cleaning.

Never off, sometimes to clean & that is all.

I do it when I am cutting up raw chicken, or putting Eucerine on my hands.

I have been married 12yrs..once my engagement ring went on it remained until the wedding ring went on...thats 12yrs.., my husband is no different our rings are also a symbol of our devotion and committment.., I wear thin plastic/gloves when I prepare chicken etc...and use rubber gloves to wash my cooking stove, wash my floor..NEVER do I nor have I removed my rings..

When I was married I only took them off when I was cleaning them or if I was working at my FIL's shop and had to wash the grease off my hands. That gojo stuff has all that gritty stuff in it and it would get gunked up in my ring. Blech!

I never take them off, no reason to.
