Are your kids always 'starving' when they come home from school?

My son acts like he hasn't eaten in days and immediately starts asking for a snack...lol

Yes but lunch is at 11. He doesnt get out until 3 by the time he actually gets out of the school and into the car and home its about 320. For a kid 4 hours is a long time to go with no snack

Yes, they are. In fact, sometimes all 3 of the gang up on me and just stare...I'm afraid they're planning to eat me.

Its because lunch is served so early in the day. I think it should be moved up an hour, around noon. They'd still be hungry, sure, but they wouldn't be ravenous and ready to chew my face off.

Not starving no. But my youngest gets a snack when he gets home at 3:30 because dinner isn't until 6 or 7.

usually a piece of fruit will suffice.

My dd comes home hungry too. Lunch for her is at 10:30 and school gets done at 2:25. So I let her have a snack and we eat by 5pm.
