When I was 35 weeks pregnant with my son, I developed pregnancy induced hypertension. I am under 25 so age is not an issue. I was induced around 37 weeks because of it. I didnt have Pre-Eclampsia, because I had no protein in my urine. Now I am 4 weeks pregnant with #2, and nervous I am going to get it again! My doctor told me that Pregnancy induced hypertension is more common in first pregnancies. Any of you ladies know, or experienced this? thanks!

Not sure. Didn't have it with my first. Had it with my 2nd. I was induced at 39 weeks.

I heard of it but I don't know anything about it. Hopefully, it won't happen again.

I had it - on top of having high blood pressure through the roof, I had pre-eclampsia as well.  I gave birth a 40 weeks on my own and all was well (it was not an easy birth but both me and baby were fine)
