I'm not sure. My dd was 9.7, I had a csection. Good luck! =)

In the last trimester, ultrasounds can be off by 1 lb or even 3-4 lbs.

My son was measuring 7lbs at 36 weeks and they estimated him to be 8 1/2 to 9lbs at 40 weeks. My water broke at 39 weeks 4 days and he weighed 8 lbs10 oz and was born vaginally

You could face a c-section even at the estimated weight he is now. My nephew was 6 lbs when he was born via c-section full term.

Your body is VERY unlikely to make a baby you cannot birth. My cousin was told she would not be able to birth a baby over 7.5 lbs. They gave her an ultrasound while she was in labor and estimated he was a bit less then 7 lbs. Few hours later she pushed out a 10 lb. 2 oz. baby just fine.

Don't listen to them. I was told ds was in the high 8 lb range at 38 weeks and I needed to induce. I refused. At 40 weeks they said he was 10+ lbs I still refused induction. He was born via emergency c section at 41 weeks at 6 lbs 15 oz. They were shocked!
They can be very, very wrong.

Can't ever tell. I had two scheduled c-secs at   39 weeks.  7.15 for my oldest. They estimated 7.15 and was right! and my youngest was 7.9. No way in hell i would push something that big willingly outa my cooch unless it was an emergency and would actually fit. For some women babies are to big to pass and they can't birth them safely and some can. So you just gotta wait and see how everything goes and what you and your doctor agree on. Either way i wouldnt be worried about vaginal or c-sec. as long as that baby and you are healthy then thats all that matters

Ultrasounds can be VERY off.  You aren't necessarily facing a cesarean.
