Mom to Mom Mom to Mom

8 month old constipated

Recently i started giving her banana and i feel thats the reason she is constipated.So what do u think.Should i continue giving her banana or stop completely.

And advice..Well she drinks water and eats watermelon too.

Mine drinks 4 oz of apple juice a day as well as plenty of water and he poops like a champ lol I know tmi. But we feed him different things and this helps him a lot so he's rarely constipated

Buy her some appricot gerber baby food.  Or give her some natural papaya fruit.  It tends to soften their bowels. = )

Also, there is some glicerin pills, you insert in her anus, and will help her go, although vaseline in a thermometer works as well.

 give lots of waer, and soem watered down apple juice and/or prune juice and shell go in a few hours

I always gave my son prunes turkey and banana, alternating bites in the same feeding so he would not get constipated
