My Grandma from my Moms side of the family always rents out a banquet hall, and all the family brings a covered dish, Gma brings the turkey and ham and we have like a family potluck dinner. Its an hr drive for me, and then on the way back home I have to stop and drop my son off to his Dads and come home and SO and I usually have Thanksgiving night alone together. He goes to his family gathering with his kids and I go with my son to mine. His kids go to their Moms afterwards usually. I love our Thanksgiving get together its the 1 time of the yr I really get to see my family..

LOL with my family, that's something you can always rely upon! I've had to bring my hubby leftovers from thanksgiving a time or two. He loves it! Now that we host, its not as much of an issue. Hope you have fun!
