I will.

Quoting Janet:

Keep us posted.

Quoting Bribriesmom:

Thank you. My mother and sister don't talk to me about their medical issues. I had to ask them questions all weekend and discovered they both had hysterectomies for this. I'm 39 and will be 40 in 3 months. They had their tubes tied and I didn't, so I'm hoping I don't have to go so extreme.

Quoting Janet:

Oh my hun. I'm so sorry to hear all that. I hope they figure out what they can do.

hugs

Quoting Bribriesmom:

Update:

It was an allergic reaction to the medication, but the ultrasound revealed I have cysts on my left ovary and I have fibroids. Being referred to an OB Specialist. On top of everything and the abnormal bleeding, hoping for a solution.

Quoting Janet:

Hope everything is okay. Keep us posted.

Quoting Bribriesmom:

I'm going for a bone density and trans-vaginal pap smear. Then they ordered blood work, a calcium and other vitamin tests. I started having muscle spasms in my legs while I was there. Everyone asks me if I had an epidural, I had 2 in 1 year. I was induced for my miscarriage abd got pregnant 3 months later. We'll see.

Quoting Janet:

Let us know what the doctor says.

Quoting Bribriesmom:

I'm having pain, but only when I lay on my back. Dead smack in the middle. Calling my doctor today for an appointment.

I got the bad news, I will not be able to have anymore children. The fibroid is in a position that is blocking my womb tip and covers a crucial part in my uterus. The entire time the Dr's thought I had a large placenta, it was the fibroid. He wants to perform the NovaSure procedure if he goes in and the D&C doesn't work. I had a D&C in 2011 after I delivered my son at 6 months because he died in my womb. Along with this procedure because it's dangerous to get pregnant, I will be getting a tubaligation. I broke down Wednesday after I dropped my daughter off at Daycare. Now I'm waiting for the authorization to have the procedure.

I'm so sorry. :(  Words can't say enough. Tell me if they would have caught this sooner would the outcome be different?

Yes, I new about the cyst, but the fibroid caught me off guard. It had to be within the past 2 years that it grew. I had a D&C in 2011. I'm grateful that I have my daughter, but even though I will be turning 40, I have thought about having a sibling for her. I read about the procedure and am very nervous about it and will be researching alternatives before the authorization is approved.
