What was the very FIRST thing you noticed about your significant other?

For me it was his aura of confidence. He just carried himself with a sense of authority. Like he wasn't trying to discover himself, he already knew who he was. It was very attractive. Then I noticed how broad his shoulders were. ;)

I was working as a bartender at Friday's.  I turned around and was instantly attracted..then I saw his big muscular arms.  I just wanted to touch them!   We married six months later.  It'll be 18 years in January.

We live in the U.S. he lived in Germany the majority of his life so his is pretty thick and his English is still a bit off. He is starting to lose his German, he tends to forget some words.

I always thought I liked guys with red hair, but I realized that its not the red hair, its blue eyes that I love. My husband lived in germany for years-his ex wife and my step kids are german.

He does a good german accent. Not that he has it all of the time. Has yours lost his at all? Or do you live in Germany?

Quoting MommySchatzi:

Blue eyes are beautiful! He loves my brown eyes.

German accents are sexy!

Quoting celestegood:

My hubbies blue eyes were the first thing I noticed:) a German accent is sexy. Sounds like you got a good one.

Quoting MommySchatzi:

His blue eyes and German accent.

His baby blue eyes, and his very deep voice. I used to get goose bumps every time he called me with that voice. After 13 years that faded, but I'm still captivated by his eyes.
