How would I clean this?

I have no idea what this is on the pillow, but its been there for at least a year. I don't know how to clean it, so this is on one side of the pillow and the same design is on the other so I always just flip it to the other side so nobody sees it. It's most definitely not washable and there is no way to take it apart other than unsewing it.

Any help would be appreciated.
TIA

Why can't you wash it? Is it hand painted? I might risk it and throw it in the gentle cycle. Or take a wet wipe and try to bloat it clean.

I was wondering the same thing as the pp, why can't you wash it? It looks like a pillow my grandma had and she washed hers..

I agree, it throw it in the washer and dry with a tennis ball

I've never heard the tennis ball thing. What does that do?

In all honesty, I would wash it. Unless its special and you don't want to ruin it, a gentle cycle would not hurt it.

Try spraying RESOLVE then wipe off with a damp rag...that's what I would try to do...GL

I have an apartment sized washer and it wouldn't even move inside it. I also don't have a dryer.
