I love the sound of my boys whispering and laughing and conspiring or telling stories on each other...They are 17(next week) and 19...and have been the best of buds and the worst enemy's through-out their lives.  I worried because my dh and his brother didn't have a good relationship growing up, they were not close and still are not.  Our boys have shared a room for years even after they each had thier own, I'd find the other one asleep in brothers rooms....  Then the name calling came around middle school...and arguing... and now as they mature they are buddies again.  They spent the last hour in the kitchen baking cookies, whispering laughing and when I would come in they'd jokingly tell stories on each other...  It is a fabulous sound...
