Brush your teeth? Check your alarm? Phone? Get some water?

I get my dogs treats.  One of my dogs is older and stubborn, so I need to bribe him with cookies so he will come upstairs with us faster.  If I don't he'll eventually come up, but he'll struggle in the stairs because it's too dark and then will bark at our bedroom door until we let him in and risk waking DD up.  So that's the last thing I do before lights out and kissing my husband good night I give my dogs treats when each of them settles in to their respective doggy beds ! :)

I know this sounds weird, but I can't fall asleep until I hear my daughter in the crib.  She is in the same room as us so it's pretty easy to hear her.  She's 14 months old, you'd think I'd get over the whole SIDS thing by now.

I turn the radio on. I can't sleep without a little bit of noise.

I can beat you there. I used to check my oldest until she was five. I would only do it before bed and she was in her own room but still.
It's totally normal.
