How many other kiddos will no longer be done with the school year in May now?

DS's original last day of school was may 21st. Now he will be going through at least June 2nd. Darn snow! :(

They are still on the fence.Waiting for Ohio to make a decision. If they say no to the extra calamity days June 10th could be there last day.

I've got to check...I think they will go a little longer.

We always go the first couple of weeks of June.  Our district will likely increase the length of the school day by 15 minutes or so until the time is made up.  Or they may request a waiver since our state was declared a state of emergency.

Our school starts late in Sept, so we go until June 16th.

The principal just sent out an email letting us know this morning. Really hoping we don't have any more snow days! Its already messing up visitation schedule for the summer. Thankfully my ex husband is willing to work with me so DS can still go on vacation with us.

The extra 15 minutes is such a good idea! I wish they would make all the half days full days to make up at least a little of the time. He has had 3 or 4 since January.

We start in early to mid August here. Growing up I remember always starting in September though.
