Cancer Fashion Show

Next Saturday DD is in her very first fashion show ever. It's in honor of the cancer society and research. She's representing a relative who is a recent breast cancer survivor.

It's being put on by a department store in our local mall. She will be wearing a pink strapless dress. The dress is cute on her and she likes it. Make up is being done by Mary Kay representatives from New York and hair by local stylists. She is all excited and I am proud of her for wanting to represent her relative, but at the same time I am a bit nervous. She's only 11 and I don't want her looking older than what she is.

I am happy though because she's going through her Tom boy phase and this is helping her come out of it.

Well I'm sure with the make up she will look a bit older than she is but it's not an all the time thing.

I think it's wonderful she's doing this in honor of her relative.
