light pink/white barely there eye shadow and lip gloss?

Lip glosses

My dd's birthday is coming this summer, she'll be 12 and I'm thinking about getting her a couple pieces of pinkish makeup. Not too different than the Barbie play makeup she wears around the house.

What do you think? Ok or too young, wait a couple more years?

Oh and she wears glasses so the eye makeup would be very subtle. I would think it wouldn't be too visible.

Looks fine to me. I allowed that kind of makeup for dds at that age. Very soft and natural looking.

Has she asked for it? If yes, go for it, if not.. I wouldn't.

Well she's been asking to wear more of the play makeup she has. Not technically for adult makeup. I just thought actual makeup might be a nice little surprise gift.

Defiantly go with a real make up rather than her using play make up.

Thank you, I kind of think so too.

I think it's fine. My dds started experimenting with it at that age. (:
