So, I noticed a lot of parents at my kids tumbling class use the time to use their tablets and phones? I also noticed this at the park, and library. I am trying to get a number of how many parents use this time to catch up on internet stuff, for a paper. I am not saying I never do it. Just wondering

Hardly ever. If I'm waiting for a text or call from DH I'll be pulling out my phone more but otherwise I'm there to enjoy my child.  I get plenty of screen time at home.

I had to read the post. I jumped in to answer the question, but I was thinking the screens like on playpens and stuff. Didn't realize you meant electronics. lol I chose hardly ever. If I have my phone out, it's cause I am taking pictures or video for their dad.

No. I am there to watch my child practice or play. I will only use my phone to answer a call or to take a picture or video of what is happening at the event, practice, game etc..

Sometimes... but not often. It really depends on what the event or activity is.

No. I have nothing to catch up on from the internet, and  I leave my work at my job.

I usually have a book to read.
