Little bitty plastic bead. She is 3 and will not stop putting stuff in her mouth. What do I do to get her to stop? It's driving me crazy. And I didn't know she had it in her mouth I bent down to give her a hug and she smiled and I seen it and told her to spit it out and she then giggled and down the throat it went. Ugh! What do/did y'all do to keep them from putting stuff in their mouths?

idk, my kids never really put stuff in their mouths. each did it only once. i think my panic reaction scared them and they never did it again.

I know what you are going through. My dd was like that and still is (she's 13yo). Some kids just like to have something in their mouths all the time. I try to keep her supplied with gum.

I never let them have small stuff. To this day I still keep stuff up high and they are definitely old enough to not do that (11 & 9).

I would find a place she cannot reach to keep items like this.
