I have an Associates for Medical Assisting and have yet to find a job in that field. I had been working on a Bachelors in Health Services Administration but the curriculum has changed and now instead of needing 17 more classes, now I need 22. I'm kind of pissed about this. My school counselor (I think that is what the person is called that helps with degree plans) suggested that I go for a Bachelors in Case Management which only needs 15 more classes...except that she forgot to mention that you can't seem to get a job in that field unless you are also an RN, which I am not. Do any of you ladies have an Associates in Medical Assisting that you were able to use toward another degree? If you did, which field of study? Thank you.
