I am looking for cheap places to take my kiddos this summer.  I have 5 of them and they do better when we are out and about.  Do you all have any ideas?

Zoo, childrens museum, park, library, etc are favorites here. The library here has all sorts of things going this summer.

Our library puts on a summer reading program. They put on magic shows and do fun stuff with the kids. Go have a picnic in the park. Go for a walk along the lake. You could go fishing or camping. :)

Fort Worth, TX.  It gets really hot here.  Things outside have to be early in the morning.

Parks are free, take advantage of nature. And do different things in ordinary places, it will seem like a new place. Like put down a picnic blanket on a patch of grass in a park, any grassy area or kiddie playground, and picnic! Take a photo scavenger hunt, or just write a list of items they see around town, in the mall etc...

The photo scavenger hunt is a great idea! They love to take pictures!
