Has anyone seen this movie?  My step-daughter lost her grandmother in March and I am wondering if this movie will upset her.

It was sooo good! I took myself on a date to see it when it was in theaters.

Hugs to your step daughter & I honestly do not think it will upset her. I know I don't know her but that's my opinion without telling the movie.

I saw it, and loved it.  I thought it was a wonderful, wonderful movie.  I let my 10 year old son watch it and he loved it as well.

Saw it and read the book. We actually just watched the movie the other night. It was extremely good. I don't think it would upset her. I lost both my grandmothers not to long ago, both within the same week and is was not upsetting, I didn't really think about that while I was watching it (didn't mean that in a bad way). If anything (don't mean this in a pushy way) it made my belief in the afterlife stronger

I have seen it and liked it. I wouldn't think it would upset her, but that is hard to say without knowing her.

I would never let my kid see that. And my daughter lost her grandmother (my mother) in March.

That being said, if you are a Christian or just a general theist, I have heard mixed reviews, but none that should be upsetting to an established believer. (Assuming your stepdaughter is.)

It was a good movie but to me it was just a made up movie, I don't really think it happened. I don't believe in stuff like that.
