Mom to Mom Mom to Mom

If you could learn to do something, what would you want to learn?

I want to learn how to sew on a sewing machine.  I remember hearing my grandma sewing away on a machine, and making everything for us.  I would love to learn how to sew and teach my girls.

I think it'd be cool to learn how to crochet. I tried but failed so miserably so I loom knit right now.

learn the necessary therapies to help my child with autism.  You can go to a store like Joanns Fabrics to take one of their sewing machine classes.  Yep I bought myself one a couple of years ago but have yet to learn how to use it!  LOL

I would want to learn to crochet. My Grandma was starting to teach me when she got sick and passed away so I have always wanted to continue learning.

I'd love to learn how to play guitar and write notes. I write poetry that I so desperately would love to put to music but I have no clue about any of it.

I tried to teach myself how to crochet too and had a big fail.  lol I tried watching a You Tube Video it didn't help me there.  I should try loom knitting, my friend makes hats this way.

I hope you get a chance to incorporate therapies to help your child.  Do you get ABA specialists coming to your home to work with your child?  I hope you will get the services you need!

All the Joann's closed by my house, the nearest one is 50 miles away.  I may make the trip so I can get sewing machine basics.  I know without a class, I will do the same.

I'm so sorry.  I hope you can find someone to help you learn or you can take a class, I am sure your Grandma would love to know you continued with it.

I hope you have a chance to learn it.  My DH got a guitar and started teaching himself chords.  He found some great You Tube teachers, he does a really great job.  He can play a lot of songs now.  Good luck!
