Which one?

So I am trying to encourage our special needs 8 year old to start sleeping in her own room instead of in bed with us. She absolutely LOVES the Little Mermaid so I am going to be decorating her room in the Little Mermaid theme. Her walls will be painted a light blue and on one wall I wanted to put decals on it.

I have chosen these for her bedding and curtain.

Which decal should I use or should I just forgo the decal(No I am not a decorator, lol)?

I don't think the decal is necessary. But if I had to pick, I'd pick the second one. It's must less busy.

I love the second decal. I think it will be lovely and she will love it too.

Second one.  You also might get an Ariel stuffed lovey (if you haven't already) so that she can cuddle with Ariel, too.

Oh that is an awesome idea, I didn't even think about getting something like that, thanks :)
