Towel and linen folding and storing?

My mother taught me that when putting towels and linens in the closet to always put the last fold of the towel or sheet in front, and the next to the last fold to the left. I still do this. It does make the closet look nicer. Do you have a certain way that you store towels and linens?

Right now I just jam it all into the closet. Lol! We have zero space for that kind of stuff. But I built TONS into our new house plan.
