Organized moms. Advice please!!!

I need some help. I live in a small home, I want to start getting my place extremely organzied & just get rid of everything.. Where I need help at is:: where do I start first? & how do I begin?

I know these seem like silly questions but I'm new at the whole organize everything stage!

Do you alot of paperwork..children drawings?I am gonna scan and save them to a disc this winter.

 Yes i keep every single coloring page hehe

I saved everything too.. I found that I can take clothes line and hang it on the ceiling  of her room all the way around then take clothes pins and hang the art that way.. Its not cluttering anything and you can see it, and she can see that you saved it..

start in one room.. Break it into zones then start at the ceiling and work down..

Take it 1 room at a time.

 Start in the room you use the most and do that room first.  Then move to the next... :)
