So today alone I have cleaning and laundry and packing to do.  I am going to play a game, 30 minutes cleaning/working and 30 minutes of rest since I am pregnant and tired.

Here is what I have to do for Cleaning:

Put laundry away

Fold laundry in dryer and put away

Rewash what's in washer, dry, fold and put away

Clean up laundry room

Clean DD's bathroom

Fold blankets in guest room (one needs to go packed for our trip)

Clean DD's room-basic pick up

Clean my room-basic pick up and dust

Clean livingroom (take care of all paperwork and books)

Clean playroom

Clean fireplace area

Make pumpkin bread 2 batches

Pumpkin cookies 2 batches

Packing:

4 outfits for everyone

DD toys

Blanket and 3 pillows

Dog supplies

Books/craft stuff for car ride

Dry Snacks & food

Of course then there is making breakfast for DD, lunch and dinner and cleaning the kitchen after dinner.  Tomorrow brings more stuff to do for our trip since we leave at 1:30 after DH gets off work.

Sounds like my day.. I do the 15 minutes cleaning.. My dd loves it.. We play a game with it.. Every minute we beat the timer by she gets that time in Wii minutes.. So she is always trying hard to beat the timer!!  Then after the timer goes off she knows she gets a break

That is a list...lol!

Take it 1 room and 1 step at a time, and don't try to get it all done right away.

1 mom liked this

This reminds me:

I've known two different people who simplified their lives by making their laundry rooms into their wardrobes/change rooms... so the clothes are taken off in there, washed and dried and folded and put away in there.

Frees up space in the bedrooms, stops the 'find the laundry all over the house' game... and is so incredibly simple and obvious I'd feel a lot better about it if I'd thought of it myself.
