What kind of vacuum does everyone have??

My vacuum cleaner just died and I am unfortunately in the market for a new one.  I spent this afternoon online researching and reading reviews, and now I'd like to hear from some fellow moms!!  So, what kind of vacuum cleaner do you have and how do you like it??  Pros and cons, cost, suction, pet hair, etc.  Thanks in advance for you input!!

I don't have one because I have hardwood floors.

If you have enough money I would invest in a dyson. I love mine. :)

dyson. Love it. No real cons, excellent with pet hair.

well i guess the only con is the price. i have the purple ball one and it was about 499 or osmehting like that

I HATE the one I have. It's poopy. I don't even remember what it is and I'm too lazy to check.

I've always wanted to try out a dyson but they're too expensive for me. I got a cheap Eureka for about $40. It's white & lime green in color & works great for me. No problems with it. It's also super light weight so I could do the stairs easily.

I have a bissel pet hair vacuum. We love it. It picks up more than our last vacuum and we picked it up on sale at SAMs.

If I had a choice now with the dyson I would have invested in the lighter weight dyson because of stairs. The heavier one is harder to vacuum stairs but it is still manageable. (sp). When I purchased mine they didn't make the lighter weight one. I have one of the very first ones that came out.

I use a shop vac. Best decision ever !!

i have a bissel. its the cheap one you can get for like $60 at walmart, but it works great.

id love to get one of those shark lift aways.
