Coupon Organizing Help!

I have a coupon binder for my non food items and then i have a 13 file expanding folder for my food coupons. My binder is ok so far, but my coupon folder is a mess. How do you separate each section? How can i arrange the coupons so that it will make them easy to find and in sync with what most stores have. HELP!

Do you mean like dairy, breads, meats, veggies?   Or alphabetically? I think I'd organize by type of food though- dairy, etc.

Yes, thats what i mean. I want to have it as close as possible to the way that its divided in the stores.

Index cards?  Do you have a picture of it?  I think I am confused.  Is it a wallet sized expanding folder?  Because I would think coupons would get lost in a regular one.  If it's a regular one, maybe use long envelopes for each category.

Ok, im uploading a pic now. The sections are already divided (sectioned), but i dont know how to label each category to make it easier to find in the store as well as my folder.

1 mom liked this

For sections, I would do Freezer, deli, dairy, boxed meals, cans, snacks, drinks, and baking, for starters.

if you shop mainly at one store then I would try to organize it by aisles or at least by section. i have breakfast, frozen, fridge, seasonings, condiments, baking, canned food, drinks etc etc. Try going to krazycouponlady, she has a guide on there with all the catagories.
