try using lysol sprays and wipes instead of the clorox. it works just as good and doesnt have the harsh fumes. Make sure you change or clean the air filters to get the germs out of the air as well. take all the toys that are hard with no batteries and put them in the tub with a lysol and water and let them soak, then let them air dry.  have you tried making your own fabric softner and spraying that on the recliner? Thats what I do. cheap hair conditioner any scent you like, viniger and water. I will have to pull up the ratios for you but I usually make a huge batch... Its worth a try, or maybe you have some already...

I don't know if bleach alternative has disinfectant properties. You may need some other laundry disinfectant. Lysol is good for cleaning since you can't take the bleach smell. Be sure to have windows open so you don't breathe in fumes from any cleaning solution. Everyone should wash hands a lot. Disinfect everything they touch- faucet handles, toilet flushers, light switches. Wipe down the bathrooms. I looked up norovirus and mainly the precautions were to stay hydrated.

Oh man, we had that virus one year on New Years Eve. It started with my son who was like 6 months old at the time. Then it hit Erik, me, my mom, step dad, and brother all within 6hrs. I wouldn't wish that virus on ANYONE! I hope your family feels better soon.

I went crazy with bleach, clorox wipes, and lysol. Keep a couple windows open and make sure that everyone is washing there hands A LOT!

If you can find some at a local florists get some lavender and put it in a bowl of water with a tiny bit of vinegar (about 1/20th) and then let it sit for an hour then use this water to dampen a towel and sanitize... It leaves the house smelling like lavender and both lavendar and vinegar are natural disenfectants.

I'm a big user of Lysol spray. I leave the house with my son and tell my hubby to spray anything that doesn't move.
