Okay, who has broke down and hired a maid!

I just don't feel like I can keep up with this house on top of working almost full time and raising my children (who have special needs).  Does anyone hire cleaning help?  I hate to spend the money and have a stranger cleaning my house but my house is big and I just don't have time to keep up with it.

My husband and I have hired a college student to help with the cleaning around here. It's only temporary, but for now it has helped me tremendously.

Hire a housecleaner and don't feel guilty. You'll be helping the economy. You'll have more energy and less stress. Go for it!

That's why I'm feeling guilty. We can afford it but there is oh so much I would rather do with that money.  I think I am just too lazy.  I work hard at my job and being a mom but I just have no oomph left for this house!

I have thought about it. I would be happy for someone to come in once a month and really clean.

If I could I would. I also have a special needs child and some times the housework gets put on hold so I can focus on all her needs
