I had seen a tip on Pinterest . Said to put 2 c baking Soda and 2 drops of Lavender essential Oil in a container and shake well.. Then pour in Kitchen Collender and sprinkle over  your bed. Leave sit for minimum of 1 hour. Then vacuum up wiht the attachment of your sweeper. It claims to get rid of dust mites.. I did it.. My whole bedroom smells amazing.. I let it sit for 4 hours.. I then vaccumed it all up and made my bed.. My room smells great.. Not sure if it got any dust mites up, I didnt see any to begin with.. I do think its a great way to deodorize and remove odors from your mattress.

Just thought Id share!!

Wonder if lavender has to be used. It gives me a headache.

How about that! Glad it made your place smell so good. Dust mites can't be seen anyway, but this would be a really pleasant way to get rid of them if it works. I think they live inside the mattress don't they?
