Cleaning & Organizing Cleaning & Organizing

Just a few questions... need some help!

1. Does anything work better than a magic eraser?

I've been trying to get the grease icky-ness build up off our stove top since we moved in in January.  Magic eraser has done the most damage to the spots, but I can't seem to get anymore off...

2.  I don't have a filing cabinet.  Any ideas about how to organize our papers (paid bills, reciepts, etc) that aren't important enough to be put in the lock box?

3. Need some ideas about how to put my books up too... (We just moved and don't have a bookshelf yet...)

If I can think of anything else I'll update the post Thanks in advance!!!

For paperwork we use magazine holders. Then lable them. We have them labeled like this....

Bills
Eriks
Amber
Connor (medical things, important school info)
Kennedy (medical things)
Bella(vet paperwork)

I'm not sure about the books. We have a built in DVD/Bookshelf in our living room.

I'm sure the other ladies will have great tips, though!

I always think stacking books in different directions looks nice!

Have you tried Dawn for the build up?

You can always use a nice see thru tote for your temporary filing cabinet

Oh...I just thought of something. Have you used oven cleaner on your stove? About a month ago I bought oven cleaner, in a spray bottle and sprayed my oven. I somehow got a spot of it on my stove top, and when I went to go wipe it down it had gotten off a burnt spot that I had been trying to get rid of for a while.
