No. She always had the attitude that when I'm an adult, I'll learn on my own.

Absolutely not.  My mother does not keep a very clean house.  Yet she is critical of mine.  I taught myself, with help from flylady!

Nope, My ex mother in law taught me everything I ever knew about housekeeping if it wasn't something I had already taught myself (she wasn't the best housekeeper but she cleaned and she taught me how to iron)

I can remember somethings she told me.  Like everytime I clean the toilet I hear her saying how to clean the bottom and the back.  Some things I figured out when I worked nights at a group home.  They had a daily, monthly and weekly cleaning list.  Until then I'd never heard of cleaning walls and wiping out the washer.  I was only 20 though.

She is ocd so I ignored a lot of it...wasn't allowed a lot of it, so pretty much no...she still thinks I'm filthy bc I don't have soap suds everywhere at all times or use bleach or ammonia

Sort of. I learned how to do individual chores- but how to "keep a clean home". No. I am struggling to figure it out and set a good example for my girls before I have created another generation of clutter bugs- and messy housekeepers.
