The Terra campaign is launching in 10 parks in Mexico City, which is turning into a veritable goldmine for people with excess trash--trade in your dog poop for Wi-Fi, and trade in your recyclable garbage for credits at local farms. It almost makes you want to have trash to throw away.

It probably will be effective. Too bad that people can't be motivated more by wanting to do the green thing than to get something by doing it.

I wish we had something like that. People never pick up after their dogs. And it would be nice to have the extra incentive for other items as well.

I don't know spanish but that was funny. The downside that I see is someone might think it's a good place to toss your dirty diapers too. LOL

I'm on the commitee for the nieghborhood pool...maybe we could say "pick up you dog poop and you get your key".  It's REALLY bad around here.
