where are/did you have family vacation?

What is or was your big vacation for the year? How long was your stay?

In two weeks we are going about 6 hours south of here for a family reunion!! We are very excited

We really didn't do anything big. Took my husband to Sea World for Father's Day. We made it a weekend trip type thing.

We are trying to figure out if we want to go to the mountains or the beach

Going to Toledo Zoo next week..later on to Marblehead Lighthouse..then to put in bay maybe

DH wants to go to New Jersey toward the end of summer, that is where he is from and DS hasn't been there before, we will see. Usually we take like 3 day trips once or twice a year to California or Utah.

 Last year.  In June 2011 we went to the NC smokies.  We met my parents, my sis and bil, her 2 daughters, their hubbies and 3 kids total.  They all tent camped, My parents and my fam got a cabin (we always go cheap and this was our splurge).  There was a tubing river that spit out right at our camp site.  It was the most awesome vacay ever! We don't vacation every year.

 We are taking a few small, weekend trips this summer.  I don't like taking time off every year.  It's in my contract but I don't like doing it.  We went camping near by 2 weekends ago and we are going to an in state amusement park and camping in July.

In august were going to ocean city, maryland. Its pretty much the only place we will go for now until the kids are bigger. I dont think mommy can handle an 8 hour car ride to myrtle beach with 2 one year olds and a 6 year old. Well, maybe the 6 year old lol.
